What's the correct
finishing for your project?

Choosing the right finishing method for your print project isn’t just about how it looks, it’s about how it works. Whether you’re creating a booklet, brochure, or folded piece, the structure you choose plays a crucial role in how your message is received. It can be a challenge to figure out what format fits your content best, from page count and usage to how it lands in the hands of your client. That’s where our expertise comes in. Below, we break down the most common binding and folding solutions. Still unsure? Our team of experts are ready to guide you toward the most effective option for your content, audience, and goals.

1. Stitch Binding.

Also known as saddle-stitching, this method is fast, clean, and cost-effective. Pages are folded and stapled along the spine, ideal for booklets, brochures, and event handouts. Keep in mind: page counts must be in multiples of 4, making it best suited for slimmer projects.

2. Coil Binding.

Plastic spiral binding offers flexibility and durability. A top choice for manuals, training books, and workbooks. Pages turn easily and lay flat, but the format works best with even-numbered pages to maintain balance. It’s practical, yet still polished.

3. Wire-O Binding.

Similar to coil but with a more refined look. This double-loop metal binding is great for reports, calendars, or any material that needs to impress. Like coil, it works best when content is structured in even-numbered pages for symmetry and function.

4. Perfect Binding.

When you want that softcover-book feel, perfect binding delivers. The clean, squared-off spine gives a premium finish that’s perfect for catalogs, product books, and manuals. Pages are glued along the spine, giving you space to add a printed spine title.

5. Folding Techniques.

Not everything needs a bind. From classic bi-folds and tri-folds, to compact medical-style folds, we can help structure your piece for function and flair. A great folding layout guides the reader through your content, and makes a strong first impression.

6. Custom Finishing & Special Formats.

For projects that break the mold, tabbed inserts, tear-off panels, booklet/folder hybrids. We offer creative finishing solutions that go beyond the basics. This is where function meets form, and your project gets that “wow” factor.
